The win on the Isle of Man in 1978 is a legend in racing history. The design of this commemorative IOM '78 jacket is inspired by the historic Castrol logo that adorned the victorious Ducati 900 SS. In super soft leather, this jacket has both a comfortable feel and a vintage look, yet doesn't sacrifice safety. The jacket is compatible with the G1 back guard, sold separately, and specially-redesigned composite protections on the shoulders and elbows are smaller and more suitable to a woman's body, as well as more flattering. Two outer pockets, an adjustable hip fastening and a jacket-to-pants zipper make the jacket functional for riding, and elasticized fabric at the armholes maximizes movement. The jacket is lined with both a fixed sanitized lining and a removable thermal micro-down lining promoting hygiene and versatility for all temperatures. To complete this jacket's retro look, historical sponsor patches decorate the left sleeve, and the 1977 Giugiaro logo marks the front, back, and right sleeve. An Italian patch on the front proudly displays Ducati's national heritage. In a slimmer cut, the women's version of the IOM '78 jacket is both technical and stylish.
